It’s always best to use a good password manager to save your passwords. Sooner or later, this new feature will reach the stable branch.

Click on the menu button with next to the saved password line and select 'Edit password'. Click on the app of your choice, and you should be able to see the site, your username, and your password. Open the menu (Alt+F), and select Chrome > Settings > Autofill. Windows will ask you how you want to open the file. To see if the passwords were saved correctly, click on the file. Head on over to your Windows file manager and click on Documents to see your newly created file. When you click save Chrome won’t show you any message letting you know that the file has been created. Click Save and the file will be created automatically. The file will also be saved as a CSV file. Open Chrome and type chrome://flags into the address bar and press Enter. Now with a few simple steps, you can get a list of all those passwords to store on your computer.

The file will be named Chrome passwords by default, but you can change the name if you want to. It used to be impossible to download a list of passwords you saved to your Chrome browser. If you’re OK with that, click on the blue Export passwords button and enter your Windows password to continue. This means that if you share your computer with anyone, they can see your passwords unless you restrict access somehow. This is where you’ll find the export passwords option.Īfter clicking on the Export passwords option, you’ll see a message warning you that the passwords will be visible to anyone that can see the exported file. You can either double-click on the Google Chrome icon on your desktop or taskbar, or right-click on the icon and click on 'New Window' among the options on the menu that pops up.
